The Summit UK Number Plate Stickers are ideal for driving in Europe. They are self-adhesive making them simple to attach and ensures you meet current legislation. The pack contains a white identifier for the front number plate and yellow identifier for the rear number plate.
Previously when travelling in the EU, the number plates on your car needed to have a Euro symbol and the GB national identifier. If they didn’t then you had to display a GB sticker. Under new rules, from September 2021, motorists driving outside of the UK must now have a UK identifier displayed clearly on the rear of the vehicle.
If your number plate includes the UK identifier with the Union flag you do not need a UK sticker. However, you will need to display a UK sticker on the rear of the vehicle if your number plate has any of the following:
A GB identifier with the Union flag
A Euro symbol
A national flag of England, Scotland or Wales
Numbers and letters only – no flag or identifier
If you’re driving in Spain, Cyprus or Malta, you must display a UK sticker no matter what is on your number plate. You do not need a UK sticker to drive in Ireland.
